Houdini dog has once again managed to only have symptoms at the dog ER. This is his third time I've taken him to this ER and had this happen. If he hadn't gotten better in their care, I might start to doubt them.
What appeared to be a foreign body in his stomach at the vet is now thought to have been gas or some other inflamation. They commented on how calm and easy he was to ultrasound - clearly he is still not feeling 100% - and didn't see anything. Instead of opting for more tests at this point we're going to see if nausea meds and fluids get him squared away. Going to check back with them later this evening.
Certainly doesn't look like Mak will be enjoying any of his birthday cake, but he should be around to see it. Even if we can no longer afford it. :-(
