Painting

M got an easel for Christmas and has been painting a lot. Meaning after 5-6 sheets, we normally have to cut her off for the day. No telling how long she'd go otherwise...

The melt

Temperatures are headed up and the rains will quickly send the snow on its way. Headed to work today without too much trouble. "Plowed" roads:

Snow days

Since Monday, Seattle has had a spot of snow. Not a lot of snow by mid-west standards, but throw in the hills and single digit plows available and things get gnarly. They just declared a state of emergency. How exciting.

So we're been at home, watching movies, cooking, lazing about. I skied around the neighborhood yesterday and had a blast. Mabel was not interested in making a snowman or setting foot outside. She takes after her mother.

Here is to hoping that our power stays on!

In the theater, the electronics will be in the wall, between the couch and the front wall. They will nest into the bottom of the laundry room cabinet next to the fridge.
