Kate ran the dishwasher this morning while she and Mabel ran out and I worked. When they got back and the cycle had finished, we noticed a bit of water on the floor. Hmm...and it trailed back to the dishwasher. Alright, dried up the water on the kitchen floor, took off the base of the dishwasher and setup a fan. Annoying but done. I went back to work. A little later, Kate discovered even more water in the laundry room - under the dishwasher. Crap!
The old dishwasher is now out on the back-porch. A new one has been ordered, one that has leak protection mechanisms, but I don't yet know when to expect it. Paper plates for a bit while a couple fans do their work.
