Louisville for turkey

Last week we packed up for our first set of flights with Mabel while the dogs stayed at home with a sitter and likely caught up on some much needed attention.

The ear plugs were a failure - will try something different next time.

The Mellmans were also home and dropped by with their son Blake:




Mabel's great-grandmother arrived on Tuesday and Kate's parents and brother arrived a little after the Mellmans left:

    There's a pic in the middle of the second slideshow that has me a little concerned. Santa in red is holding Mabes and she's eating her hand. That's not the issue. Is the guy in the background ok?

    He made it. It got scary for a minute, but he pulled through.
