Dinner at our house

Tonight at dinner we were talking about someone who had a toilet shoot out sewer water and Mabel started to question the details of the incident.  After defining "sewer" and the like, Mabel made this proclamation:

"Toilets are for poop and pee....and heads."

We officially have a crawler on our hands, people! Sam has been rolling, scooting backwards, and popping up on all fours for some time now.  On New Year's Day he finally popped up and moved his hand and one knee forward. Once. And then he collapsed. Since then he has been getting better, but as of Saturday morning he is full on crawling.  Perhaps he is a born overachiever (I hope not) but the same day he started pulling up on things. He also lets go and stands for a second before falling on his bum.

The party has started.

Christmas 2012

Feels like just yesterday we were on a beach... and now we're surrounded by new toys.

Cabo, 5th anniversary

For our 5th wedding anniversary, we returned to Cabo, where it all began. The kids came with and Mabel had a great time. Sam was fighting teeth much of the time, but was all for pool time.

Seattle was rainy and low-40s so low 80s and cloudless days made for a perfect vacation.
We should have pro pics of the family at some point, but until then...

Happy Turkey!

We had Mabel's grandparents and uncle visiting this week, all from the Muzzey side. The kids got a lot of attention!

Next up, a trip to Cabo then back home for Sigafoos grandparents at Xmas.

We got some fun shots of Sam at 6 months old. Mabel was being 3 and spent the whole time in her room being unpleasant.

Odd start to the day

Kate was visiting a prospective school for Mabel this morning, so I hung out at home.

Sitting at home this morning, reading a book with Mabel. Notice my neighbor's pregnant wife lug their 1+ year old down the back stairs. coats. going on a walk.
See her then put son in stroller. Drop pants and pee in her backyard. Pants up, heads out on walk.
